Read John 8:12

I am 10 years old. My family members and my Sunday School teachers told me about God. My first conversation was with my mom when I was talking about getting baptized and accepting Jesus into my life. My mom set a good example for me because she helps the church in many ways, by being an Awana leader and being a Sunday School leader.

When we had a talk about getting baptized, we went to Mr. Michael to ask him some questions. He asked me if I accepted Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior, and I said, “Yes, I do.”  I knew that I was not a follower of Christ, and I needed Him to save me from my sins, so I accepted Him. John 8:12 says, “Then the Lord spoke again to the people. He said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life.’” I like to worship God singing and praising Him and praying to Him. He is the one that made all of this happen. He is the one that made us exist. He saved us from our sins so we wouldn’t have to pay the death penalty. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

One great way to weave worship into our daily lives is to fill it with music that helps focus our hearts on our great God.  Here is a Spotify playlist that has all the songs our worship team has led us through in the last month’s Sunday evening services to get you started. http://bit.ly/GBCPMThisMonth It’s updated weekly, so “follow” it to keep fresh worship music in your life.
