Gymnastics Foundations

Registration for the Fall session of gymnastics is now open. Classes will begin the week of January 7 and run through the week of March 4 (a total of 9 classes). The cost of the session is $120 for the first child with a 10% discount for the second/third child ($108). Our class size is limited to 10 students. We do have space available in some of our classes as noted below.

BEGINNER/ADVANCED BEGINNER CLASS (Student has no developed skills )

Monday: 4:15 p.m. (FULL)

BEGINNER CLASS (Student has no developed skills)

Monday 5:00 PM, Wednesday 5:00 PM.(FULL) Thursday 4:15 PM; Thursday 5:00 PM

ADVANCED BEGINNER (Student has developed front & back rolls, cartwheels, and push up backbends. )

Tuesday 4:15, Tuesday 5:00(FULL), or Wednesday 4:15(FULL)

INTERMEDIATE CLASS (Student has developed backbends, front limber, and working on back walk overs)

Monday 5:45 or Tuesday 5:45(FULL)

ADVANCED CLASS (Students will be developing aerial cartwheels, back handsprings, and other advanced skills.)

Diane Perkins, Instructor

This class will provide a stronger foundation for gymnastics that includes all mat work, with a lot of creative movement built in. The benefits of gymnastics include better body carriage, balance, poise, and self-confidence.

Diane Perkins has taught gymnastics for over 30 years in the Memphis area. Her experience in gymnastics performance includes Grand Award Winner at the Mid-South Fair, performer at Six Flags Over Georgia, and the New York World’s Fair. Diane is an extremely gifted and experienced gymnastics instructor and she will work hard to build the confidence and security your child needs to be the special person she is.


  • Classes will be limited to ten (10) students. Additional students will be placed on a waiting list.

  • Parents of students currently enrolled in a session will have the opportunity to register their child two weeks prior to open enrollment.

  • All students must register in the CORE by providing complete information.

  • No make up sessions or refunds will be available for missed classes.

  • Classes are based on the skill level of each child and class placement will be determined by the instructor. When registering, please select the class that best fits the skill level of your child.
