Since the beginning of summer, we have been asking ourselves as a church family to name just one person who is far from God and we have been praying for every name that has been shared that needs to hear about new life in Christ. We believe that we don’t just need another method for evangelism; we need a more intentional focus on just one person that we could pray for and share the gospel with this year. That’s the intention behind “Who’s Your One.” On Wednesday night, August 14, at 6 pm, this gospel-sharing/prayer effort will culminate in a powerful night of worship as we host Johnny Hunt, head of the evangelism effort for the North American Mission Board (and current pastor of Woodstock Baptist, Atlanta GA/former president of the Southern Baptist Convention). We hope you will carve out a place in your schedule to make this night a priority of worshipping God together and renewing your passion to see your “One” experience salvation through Jesus Christ.

Vacation Bible School 2019
June 10-14 | 9 a.m. to Noon
This summer kids will focus in on some amazing, real-life encounters with Jesus. Each encounter is like a snapshot—a specific moment in time captured on the pages of Scripture. Through VBS, kids will discover that each snapshot of Jesus is an opportunity to respond to the gospel. And when put together, these isolated encounters clearly reveal the most amazing truth of all—Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing we can have life in His name. Are you ready for an up close and personal encounter with Jesus? The adventure of a lifetime awaits!
VBS is designed for children 4 yrs old (by June 9) through completed 5th grade. For more detailed information, contact Sherry Clark at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 901.260.5708.

About the Movie:
In RUN THE RACE, two desperate brothers sacrifice today for a better tomorrow.
Reeling from his mother’s death and his father’s abandonment, Zach, an All-State athlete, finds glory on the football field, working to earn a college scholarship and the brothers’ ticket out of town.
When a devastating injury puts Zach—and his dreams—on the sidelines, David laces up his track cleats to salvage their future and point Zach toward hope.
Available on DVD and Digital now, RUN THE RACE shows what’s possible when you run to—instead of from—the overwhelming love of God.
