Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-13

How can I not give all to the one who gave all for me?  When I think profoundly on what my Lord Jesus Christ has given me, I cannot completely wrap my mind around it.  I owe everything to Him and desire to spend my life loving Him, thanking Him, and serving Him.

Why do we give in church?  How can we not give back to Him out of the abundance he has given us-- not only in gratitude but in obedience.

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but until our pastor preached one of the greatest sermons ever on 'giving', I thought 10% of my income was all God wanted from me.  Somehow I missed the  encouragement of 2 Corinthians 9:6-13 to give generously above and beyond our tithe. I had given to other ministries cheerfully.  Then I remembered the widow's mite and how she gave out of her poverty. I want to pass that test.

We give as the Holy Spirit leads out of a loving and thankful heart to Jesus.  Because I have been given so much through Christ, I will give cheerfully and generously to please Him and to advance the Kingdom of God.

My blessings are too great, too numerous to ever count. After all, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."1 Corinthians 2:9  I love Him so!!

One great way to weave worship into our daily lives is to fill it with music that helps focus our hearts on our great God.  Here is a Spotify playlist that has all the songs our worship team has led us through in the last month’s Sunday evening services to get you started. It’s updated weekly, so “follow” it to keep fresh worship music in your life.
