Read 1 Peter 4:7-11

I want to tell the world I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Knowing and serving my Jesus Christ is a privilege and joy beyond comparison. I owe everything to Him for how He's lovingly, graciously saved my soul. I don't deserve His gift of eternal life and salvation, and I can't ever repay Him. But, I want to spend my daily life abiding, walking and talking with Him, serving Him in love and gratitude.

1 Peter 4:7-11 says, "Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.  Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.  Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.  If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God.  If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.  To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen”

Wow! If we all obeyed this scripture! This week we received a spiritual gift test and a challenge to study discipleship.  God has given me, through His Holy Spirit, the spiritual  gifts  of Faith, Serving/Ministering, and Exhortation.  God has gifted us spiritually so that we might better know our areas of service.

I humbly pray for wisdom to see and know and take action on the opportunities God presents to me, where these gifts will bring honor and glory to Him and allow me to serve Him best. I want to encourage others to take the test and join in studying discipleship and being discipled to discover more of the riches of His grace in their lives.

One great way to weave worship into our daily lives is to fill it with music that helps focus our hearts on our great God.  Here is a Spotify playlist that has all the songs our worship team has led us through in the last month’s Sunday evening services to get you started. http://bit.ly/GBCPMThisMonth It’s updated weekly, so “follow” it to keep fresh worship music in your life.
