2 Corinthians
A Precept Upon Precept Study

Leader: Marie Strain

Tuesdays 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

2 Corinthians is a book about ministry, various kinds of ministry. But in the midst of ministry, sometimes Christians are burdened beyond strength, despairing of life, having fears within and conflicts without. How do we cope with those things? This book tells us ho to be strong in the Lord when accusations and persecutions are directed toward us, how to have confidence in Him and not lose heart, and even how to correct those who are our accusers.

Biblical Wisdom on Suffering and Evil

Leader: Carolyn Mrok

Tuesday Class:
Sept 11 - May 15
9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Room: Love 115
Suggested Fee: $10

Wednesday Class (coed):
Sept 12 - May 16
6 - 7:30 p.m.
Room: Love 205
Suggested Fee: $10

This study will consider the lives of Job, Joseph, David, Paul and Jesus. We discuss not just physical suffering, but disappointment, rejection, injustice, and the part that evil plays in human suffering. We ask the question, “What part does God play in our suffering?” We will look to the Bible for the answers.

Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven

By David Jeremiah

Leaders: Wynellen Huff & Dee Anne Blair

Sept 12 - Nov 7
Wednesdays 9:15 - 11:15 a.m.
Room: Love 115
Suggested Fee: $12

“Out of sight, out of mind” is a proven truism—and heaven is definitely out of our human sight. The only way to keep heaven in our mind’s eye is to read and rehearse the truths about heaven found in the Word of God. But even when we do that, we find there are many things about heaven that are not easy to understand. Because heaven is not like planet earth, it seems mysterious to us. Revealing the Mysteries of Heaven will answer and clarify the most important questions Christians have about their future eternal home.

No Other Gods

By Kelly Minter

Leader: Rachel Pringle

Aug 8 - Dec 5
Wednesdays 6 - 7:15 p.m.
Room: Peace 219
Suggested Fee: $15

This study will challenge women to evaluate the modern-day idols in our culture and embrace a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Jesus. Often, idols are obvious—money, power, fame. But subtler idols can sometimes take the form of sweet loved ones, Instagramable interiors, and busy seasons of ministry. If your heart is prioritizing any of those pursuits before God, they are taking up space meant for Him alone.

By Tony Evans

Leader: Kay Reed

Sept 6 - Nov 29
Thursdays 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Meets in Homes
Suggested Fee: $15

Using the biblical account of Joseph, this study will help believers navigate detours that may take them through trials, injustice, and even betrayal. Join us to find comfort and encouragement through God’s Word.
