Dr. Charles A. Fowler
Charles began his ministry at GBC in August 2010. A native of Corinth, MS, he is a graduate of Union University, Mississippi State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Charles has faithfully provided focused leadership, sound biblical teaching and a tremendous love for the Germantown Baptist Church family. He is intently committed to ensuring that GBC remains a “disciple-making church” in obedience to the command of Christ in Matthew 28:18-20. Charles and his wife Sandra have two daughters, Anna and Sarah.
Larry comes to GBC from Union University in Jackson, TN where he served as Assistant Vice President for Advancement and Church Relations. A native Memphian, Larry attended the University of Memphis and Union University. As a former pastor, he has had the privilege of preaching, teaching, and sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ around the world, having visited more than 20 countries. He shares his ministry with his wife Marlene, and he has two daughters, two sons-in-law and four grandkids for which he is grateful to God. He is honored to be able to serve alongside the wonderful people of GBC and is excited about what God is doing as the church serves together to impact the world for Christ.
Worship Arts Pastor
Ron joined GBC in 2007 having previously served in both the music and education fields. He received a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education from UT Martin and a Master of Music from the University of Memphis. Ron and his wife Angela have two daughters, Bryn and Conleigh. Ron is grateful for the loving, family atmosphere at GBC and the immense amount of talent found in our church
Recreation and Senior Adult Pastor
A long time member of Germantown Baptist Church, John is a native of Long Beach, California. He earned his undergraduate degree from Union University where he double majored in Communication Arts and Religion. He is experienced in both broadcast and corporate communications and has served in youth, music, and recreation ministries. John and his wife Sandra have two children, Mark and Katie. John is thankful for his faith family and friends at GBC and is expecting to see the Lord do a mighty work among His people as we work faithfully to give expression to the Great Commission.
Dr. Josh Creason
Pastor of Children and Families
Josh began serving GBC in 2006. A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Josh graduated from Wake Forest University and then in order to be prepared to equip marriages and families to enjoy more of God's design for the home, he earned an M.Div. and Ph.D. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Courtney have four daughters, Elise, Charlotte, Lyla, and Melanie.
Associate Pastor of Instrumental Worship Arts
Dawson began his ministry at GBC in March of 2015. He grew up in Humboldt, TN and has served at churches in Georgia, Alabama, Maryland, and Tennessee. He has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Theory/Composition from Samford University, a Master of Music from The Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, and is working on his Doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of Memphis. Dawson and his wife, Taneea, have a daughter, Brylee, and a son, Brayden. They are thankful for the many opportunities to make music to the glory of God and are passionate about leading others to do the same.
Associate Pastor of Students
Ben began serving Germantown Baptist Church in December of 2014. As a native Memphian, he has had the privilege of serving in various capacities at local churches in and around the Mid-South; however, it was his love for Student Ministry that lead him to GBC. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies Degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently working through his Advanced Master of Divinity Degree through Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Heather, have two sons, Gabriel and Seth, and two daughters, Anna and Elizabeth.
Associate Pastor of College, Career, and Singles
Corky began serving Germantown Baptist Church in April of 2014. He began his full-time vocational ministry in 2007 when he served as director of a Christian Camp Ministry in Kentucky. He and his wife, Susanne, both native Memphians, have been volunteering in various student and college ministries since 2001 with a focus on college ministry for most of that time. Corky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and is currently working on a Master in Christian Studies Degree through Union University. Corky and Susanne have three daughters, Autumn, Alivia, and Addalyn. They are thankful for the growth God is allowing them to be a part of at GBC
