The GBC Family Picnic has been moved indoors, due to prediction of rain. Please join us at 4:30 in the Faith Building!
Spring has (almost) sprung, which means it's time to look forward to the annual GBC Family Picnic! This year's picnic features a special car show where you'll find a whole collection of historic, classic & modern cars, plus motorcycles. Then we'll also experience a full length concert featuring our GBC Orchestra as they serenade us through a "night at the movies". This, along with the great food, games and contests that we all know and love. So get the whole family ready for this fun-filled event and bring a friend or neighbor along as well!
If your last name begins with A-L, bring a bag of chips, M-Z, bring a dessert. Everyone bring a 6-pack of soft drinks, some lawn chairs and a blanket!
Attention Car & Motorcycle enthusiasts: if you have a classic, fancy, quirky, or cool car or motorcycle that you'd like to feature in our show, please call the church office at 901.756.9450 and ask for Kim Blair. Though this show will not include a competition or ranking system, we'd love for you to show off your special ride for all who attend!
Wednesday, May 23 | 6 p.m. | The Parlor
We are holding an interest meeting for those who might have the interest and availability to join us in the mission work in Belize. Please join us for a short presentation and a time for asking questions.
As a church, we believe God has called us to reach the people of Belize. Over the last few years we've seen the Lord place strategic partners in our path that will provide the connection we need to spread the Gospel there. The GBC Advancing Committee, as well as Pastor Charles and our pastoral staff, have embraced this poor country as a target for Gospel ministry that we feel our church is equipped to carry out.
If you have a heart to see people reached for christ and discipled in a place with very little church involvement, we would love for you to consider getting involved. But there are other practical skills needed for our work there as well. Things like construction experience, retail, medical, sports, entertainment, organization. All types of gifts and skill sets will be utilized on our teams.

To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.
Impact Weekend provides an opportunity for students in grades 6-12 to gather together with their friends to have an experience with the one, true God through large group rallies, small group Bible study, and team building activities. They will spend the weekend in a host home where they will be led by a small group leader and get the hook up on food. This is a great weekend for students to reach out to their friends who are not saved or unchurched and get them involved in a more relaxed setting to hear the Gospel.

IT IS MORE THAN A CONFERENCE...
PASSION EXISTS TO SEE A GENERATION LEVERAGE THEIR LIVES FOR WHAT MATTERS MOST
To live in such a way that their journey on earth counts for what is most important in the end. For us at Passion, that’s the fame of the One who rescues and restores, and the privilege we have to amplify His name in everything we do.
While we host large gatherings, Passion is more than a conference. More than an event. More than a feeling. Passion is you and me saying goodbye to lesser things and saying yes to Jesus, the One whose name is above every name.
We would love for you to join us January 1st — 3rd as we travel to Atlanta Georgia to worship and study scripture with 70,000 other 18-25 year olds and their leaders. The conference costs $200 for people that travel with GBC for this event. That price includes your event ticket, travel, and lodging. There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting that will take place two weeks prior to the trip where we will share more information about times and rooming lists. Can't wait to see you there.
