Read Psalm 122:1

Going "home" changes meanings throughout life ... going home with an infant from the hospital, driving home from school and work on a Friday afternoon, loading up the car with all your college possessions for your last summer at home, loading up the kids for a trip "home" to see parents and grandparents. The list and images of home go on and on.

We know that one day, we'll go home to be with Jesus for all of eternity, but what about our trips "home" to God's House each week?  Are we thankful for the time of retreat and restoration and renewed inspiration that He offers? "I was glad when they said unto me, 'Let us go into the House of The Lord.'" Thank God for the freedom we have to head "home" to His House each week for a feast from His Word and fellowship with His family!
