Read Hebrews 11

Have you ever just known in your heart that a certain decision was the right thing to do? GBC's announcement of Summer Camp for youth struck me between the eyes. My granddaughter needs this, I thought, but she has health issues! Would her parents agree? Would they allow her to make the long trip?  By faith I prayerfully forwarded the Camp information to them. "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for & assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

Last year GBC provided discipleship training. I asked God who He would have me disciple. "Child, I want you to disciple your granddaughter," He spoke to my heart. She needed a personal revival & so did I. I had heard those who go to Camp come back completely changed. Through many God orchestrated details, parent's night for Camp finally came & her Mother showed up with permission slips signed & notarized.

My granddaughter was on the bus to Summer Camp! Monday & Tuesday I prayed hard for her.  Sending her there seemed so right!  What was God up to? How was He going to bless her life? Tuesday night my phone rang--"Grandmother, I got saved at Camp tonight!" she exclaimed. She had put her faith & trust in Jesus as her Lord & Savior. I am still praising God for blessing my step of faith far beyond all I hoped & dreamed!  Faith is the confidence based on past experience that God's new & fresh surprises will surely be ours!  Jesus wants you to trust Him as Savior & Lord. He accepts you just as you are. He loves us too much to leave us as we are!
