Read Mark 3:14

God has such a sense of humor! When my daughter was in high school, she came out one afternoon with two young girls who had moved here from India to live with their uncle. They wanted to know if I could drive them home each afternoon. On a straight line, the school was right between our two houses, not exactly on the way. Still, I thought, since they were from India, they probably didn’t worship the God of the Bible. The drive would give us a chance to witness to them. On day two, one piped up from the back seat, “We’re Christians!”

Sunday night, as I walked toward the Faith Building, I met a young woman in need of directions. As we walked, I learned that she is from Romania. I was anticipating an opportunity for a little micro-disciplining/witnessing. As it turns out, her English is almost as good as mine. She’s on staff with Campus Crusade in Romania, here for meetings  and to talk with prospective supporters.

Why do you suppose He does things like that? I’ve come to the conclusion that He just wants to know that I’m willing. The fact that I’m prepared and willing to be about His business, somehow brings Him glory and honor. I’m looking forward to adding more tools and skills to my “backpack” on Sunday evenings this summer. Come along. Let’s learn to be disciple-makers together.

One great way to weave worship into our daily lives is to fill it with music that helps focus our hearts on our great God.  Here is a Spotify playlist that has all the songs our worship team has led us through in the last month’s Sunday evening services to get you started. http://bit.ly/GBCPMThisMonth It’s updated weekly, so “follow” it to keep fresh worship music in your life.
