“For the Lord your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your GOD has been with you; you have not lacked a thing.”

This verse reminds me of America. God was with the Israelites from the beginning, as He developed them into what He called them to do. God has been with America from its beginning. He established this nation and developed it to do what He has called it to do.

At times our sinful resistance caused us to wander in the wilderness like Israel. We have made some big mistakes but God always repaired and restored.

God had a purpose for Israel, and that was to be the forerunner for the gospel of Jesus Christ. God has a purpose for Christians in America, and that is to be the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world dying around us. We must fulfill this purpose to be in Gods will and receive His blessing. Pray for America.
